Role Structure
Appointments are made through scrutiny and interview, followed by chapter-level approval where applicable.
Portfolio ownership, strategic direction, and lead responsibility within assigned directorate.
Operational co-lead role supporting directorate execution and delivery milestones.
Execution and support role contributing to department deliverables and national coordination.
Directorates
Applicants select first and second department preference in the application form.
Educational sessions, workshops, surgical-readiness learning, and structured academic activity planning.
Research mentorship, collaborative scholarly projects, writing support, and publication pathways.
Institutional partnerships, surgery-interest-group coordination, and external representation work.
Member onboarding, participation quality, outreach, retention, and chapter communication continuity.
Branding, design, announcements, digital channels, website updates, and official student communications.
Budget planning support, fundraising operations, sponsorship engagement, and financial coordination.
Constitution Alignment
The National Team selection process and operational conduct are mapped to SSS constitutional standards.
SSS operates under ACS Pakistan Chapter guidance while maintaining a student-led internal operational structure.
Membership and participation are open to enrolled medical students from recognized institutions in Pakistan.
Academic Affairs, Research Affairs, External Affairs and Collaborations, Membership and Engagement, PRC, and Finance and Sponsorships.
Director appointments are merit-based and typically run for one year unless formally extended or revised.
All members and office bearers must uphold professionalism, integrity, collaboration, respectful conduct, and title discipline.
Meetings are held regularly and major decisions operate under defined quorum, documentation, and chapter-approval standards.
Professional Conduct and Ownership Agreement
Selected office bearers must maintain professionalism, integrity, respectful conduct, and full compliance with SSS constitution, chapter policies, and approved use of Society work products and identity.
